The survey is used to gather data on
the pedagogical methods of ChalleNGe program academic teachers. The
data will be used to evaluate how differences in classroom teaching
methods impact program outcomes with the goal of identifying those
teaching methods and techniques that are most effective so they may
be shared program-wide.

Opportunities of Civilian Youth
This ChalleNGe program had been
authorized in the FY98 Defense Authorization bill, and the current
survey is a new survey, one developed to help understand how
teaching methods impact student outcome.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
