USCG is using annual boat sales figures published by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) Statistical & Research Department.
There has been a decrease in the burden time associated with this collection. USCG has reduced the reporting burden associated with this collection from 299,142 hours (previously approved) to 156,170 hours (current submission). The adjustments are due reductions in annual boat sales volume.
Due to reductions in annual boat sales volume, there are fewer labeling requirements.
