What is this collection about?	This information collection requires manufacturers to display various labels evidencing compliance: Hull Identification Numbers; U.S. Coast Guard Maximum Capacities Label; Gasoline Fuel Tank Label; USCG Type Fuel Hose Label; and Certified Navigation Light Label.
Where do I find the requirements for this information?	The labeling regulations appear in 33 CFR 181 and 183 and 46 CFR 25.10-3. 46 U.S.C. 4307(a)(1)(A)(i) prohibits the manufacture or sale of a recreational boat, unless it complies with Federal regulations.
When should information be submitted to the Coast Guard?	The labels should be displayed on new recreational boats, permanently installed gasoline fuel tanks, USCG Type fuel hoses and navigation lights before the boat is sold or offered for sale.
