As part of this study, we are asking you to participate in one in-person interview each year during 2013, 2014, and 2015. Mathematica Policy Research, an independent research company, is conducting an important study sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to learn more about what helps couples build better relationships with each other and their children and improve their economic stability. As you may remember, about a year ago you consented to be a part of this study. We will be conducting a telephone interview with study participants. The interview will ask about your relationships with your partner and children. We will also ask about your living arrangements, employment, services you receive, and how you are generally feeling about yourself. The interview takes about 45 minutes to complete. You will receive $25 for completing the interview.


Your participation is important, but voluntary. Your answers will be kept completely private to the extent allowed by federal law, and you will never be identified in any report based on the survey. Participating in this survey will not affect any benefits or services you get now or will receive in the future. No one will attempt to sell you anything or ask for a donation because you participated in this study.
