Abstract: The Operation Stonegarden
grant is an important tool among a
comprehensive set of measures to help
strengthen the Nation against risks
associated with potential terrorist
attacks. FEMA uses the information to
evaluate applicants’ familiarity with the
national preparedness architecture and
identify how elements of this
architecture have been incorporated into
regional/state/local planning,
operations, and investments. The grant
provides funding to designated
localities to enhance cooperation and
coordination between Federal, State,
local, and tribal law enforcement
agencies in a joint mission to secure the
U.S. borders along routes of ingress from
International borders to include travel
corridors in States bordering Mexico
and Canada, as well as States and
territories with international water
borders.

Hours: 25,038 hours.

Abstract: The Grants Reporting Tool
(GRT) is a web-based reporting system
designed to help State Administrative
Agencies (SAAs) meet all reporting
requirements as identified in the grant
guidance of FEMA’s portfolio of
preparedness grants sponsored by
FEMA’s Grant Programs Directorate
(GPD). The information enables FEMA
to evaluate applications and make
award decisions, monitor ongoing
performance and manage the flow of
federal funds, and to appropriately close
out grants or cooperative agreements.
GRT supports the information collection
needs of each grant program processed
in the system.
Affected Public: State, Local, or Tribal
Government.

Estimated Total Annual Burden
Hours: 2,156 hours.
Estimated Cost: The estimated annual
cost to respondents for the hour burden
is $69,423.20. There are no annual costs

Government is $2,062,582.02.
