This regulation requires a Federal Credit Union (FCU) to keep a copy of the real estate appraisal. It also requires an FCU using geographic factors in evaluating real estate loan applications to disclose and justify that fact on the appraisal. This regulation insures compliance with the Fair Housing Act anti-redlining requirements.
This is a reinstatement of a previously approved collection. The change in hour burden from prior submission is attributable to a decrease in the number of FCU.
