Purpose: To ensure that swine maintain trichinae certified status during the growing phase until delivered to the packing plant, animal movement records are required. These records if organized and maintained properly will confirm all swine entering the premises originated from other trichinae certified production sites. Objectives: In order to be considered for approval as a trichinae certified production site, a trichinae author shall review, approve, and observe records confirming the continued documentation of arrivals and departures of swine to and from this trichinae certified production site.
