HRSA provides funds to eligible
institutions under the Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP) to
increase the number of qualified nursing faculty. The Annual
Operating Report (AOR) is used to obtain NFLP loan activity
information from institutions receiving funding for the purpose of
monitoring and evaluating institutional performance, and for
determining fiscal year awards.
The number of grantees was
increased from 150 to 250, an increase of 100, to reflect the
correct number of active NFLP grantees that are required to submit
the semi-annual performance report. Active grantees are those
schools that currently operate an existing NFLP loan fund.
