Subject: Help CDC Public Health Law Program evaluate the Public Health Emergency Law Minimum Competencies
Body:
Dear Public Health Emergency Preparedness Professional OR Dear Public Health Law Attorney,
The Public Health Emergency Law Minimum Competencies have been developed to illustrate the minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities public health emergency planners in state, tribal, local, and territorial health departments need to ensure that the law is accounted for in emergency preparedness, response, and recovery.
In order to ensure that the Public Health Emergency Law Minimum Competencies adequately address the legal issues health department preparedness personnel face, we would like to invite STLT government officials, employees, and attorneys to participate in a short assessment. The assessment will take approximately 6 minutes to complete. Your feedback is invaluable and will be used as we validate and refine these competency statements.
The assessment will be open from [START DATE] until [END DATE]. We look forward to hearing from you. If you have any questions or concerns, please e-mail Gregory Sunshine at [email protected].
Sincerely,
Matthew Penn, JD, MLIS
