Short Statement: This form is used to gather contact information of the purchaser from a 3rd party foreclosure sale when the IRS is considering the redemption of the property. The agency has updated its estimated number of responses based on more recent data. The estimated number of responses is 150 responses per year, resulting in a decrease of 400 responses. An inaccuracy in the previous burden total was corrected, resulting in an increase of 564 hours.
