Hello,

I am Dr. Ebenezer Aka with Morehouse College here in Atlanta. Morehouse College’s Urban Studies Program, in cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service, is working with communities in Atlanta to try and get a better understanding of people’s interest in and connection to trees in the city. To understand better how residents in various parts of the city feel about trees in Atlanta, a survey of selected neighborhoods will be conducted during September and October of 2014. This will be a door-to-door survey.

A surveyor from Morehouse College will visit your residence [enter time frame]. Monday through Friday, the surveyor will canvass your neighborhood in the afternoon and early evening hours, between 3pm and 7:30pm. On the weekends, the surveyor will canvas the neighborhood 12 noon until 6pm. The surveyor would need to interview the adult resident at home who most recently had a birthday.

Your participation is voluntary, and you may discontinue the survey at any time. All responses will be kept anonymous and confidential.
