Survey of Northeast Regional and Intercity Household Travel Attitudes and Behavior

Paperwork Reduction Act Burden Statement:

The US Department of Transportation, Federal Railroad Administration is conducting this survey to collect data on travel patterns along the Northeast Corridor. This information will be used to estimate a forecasting model of travel mode choice in the Northeast Corridor. The information obtained will be used to provide guidance to future service planning. 49 USC 103 (j)(5)‑(6) authorizes collection of this information. A federal agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to, nor shall a person be subject to a penalty for failure to comply with a collection of information subject to the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act unless that collection of information displays a currently valid OMB Control Number. The OMB Control Number for this information collection is 2130-0600. Public reporting for this collection of information is estimated to be approximately 18 minutes per response. All responses to this collection of information are voluntary.
