Dear <Insert Name>,

We need your help! Recently, you received a survey from the University of Arizona about wildlife and jaguar habitat issues in southern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico. Your responses to this survey are critical to improving our understanding of your opinions about wildlife and jaguar habitat in the region and what incentives would help you to undertake habitat improvement projects on your ranch.

We have not received your survey. If you returned it recently, thank you. In case you misplaced the original survey, we have enclosed a new survey form, along with a stamped return envelope. Only responses received by [Insert date] will be considered in our analysis. The survey will take you about 30 minutes to complete. Your responses will be kept anonymous. You can also respond online using the following website and participant code:

Your response is voluntary and there are no penalties if you elect to not participate.

With your help, we will learn about your opinions and concerns so we can develop new extension programs that respond directly to your needs. Over the next year, we will also hold several workshops throughout Southern Arizona. These workshops are an opportunity for you to provide us with additional feedback and to learn about habitat management issues raised in the survey.

Thanks again for your assistance with our research!

Sincerely,

Aaron Lien
