transfer of the legal title of a share of
stock acquired by the employee where
the stock was acquired pursuant to the
exercise of an option described in
section 423(c). REG–103146–08 reflects
the changes to section 6039 of the
Internal Revenue Code made by section
403 of the Tax Relief and Health Care
Act of 2006.

certain ownership requirements and
other conditions are met.

ACTION:

The Department of the
Treasury, as part of its continuing effort
to reduce paperwork and respondent
burden, invites the general public and
other Federal agencies to take this
opportunity to comment on a proposed
and/or continuing information
collection, as required by the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995, Public Law 104–
13 (44 U.S.C. 3506(c)(2)(A)). Currently
the Bureau of the Fiscal Service within
the Department of the Treasury is
soliciting comments concerning the

The Bureau of Public Debt (BPD) and
the Financial Management Service
(FMS) have consolidated to become the
Bureau of the Fiscal Service (Fiscal
Service). Information collection requests
previously held separately by BPD and
FMS will now be identified by a 1530
prefix, designating Fiscal Service.
Abstract: This letter is used to collect
information from companies to assist
the Treasury Department in determining
acceptability and solvency to write or
reinsure Federal surety bonds.
