Explanation of Non-Substantive Changes to OMB Control Number: 3060-0819:
Addition of FCC Form 481
Purpose of this Submission: This submission is being made for proposed non-substantive revisions to an existing information collection pursuant to 44 U.S.C. § 3507. This submission seeks to add FCC Form 481 to collection 3060-0819.
Summary of Proposed Revision :
FCC Form 481 will be used to collect information previously approved by OMB in this collection, that ETCs receiving low-income universal service support must include in their annual reports. The Commission developed this FCC Form 481 and received OMB approval under collection 3060-0986, in order to reduce the burden on ETCs subject to both high-cost and low-income reporting rules and so the information will be collected in a uniform format. The burden to respondents will minimally increase as the result of this change.
