The agency shall examine public comment in response to the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and Comment Extension, and will include in the supporting statement of the next ICR, to be submitted to OMB at the final rule stage, a description of how the agency has responded to any public comments on the ICR. This action has no effect on any current approvals. If OMB has assigned this ICR a new OMB Control Number, the OMB Control Number will not appear in the active inventory. For future submissions of this information collection, reference the OMB Control Number provided. The agency is reminded that the Paperwork Reduction Act requires the submission of the final rule information collection request be submitted, at a latest, prior to the final rule being published in the Federal Register. The final rule ICR submission must contain all forms and associated instructions that the agency plans to use for the collection of information.

Subsection 934(f) authorizes DOE to collect information from nuclear suppliers necessary to develop the formula for calculating any deferred payments under subsection 934(e). The information to be collected involves a one-time historical report and annual reports thereafter regarding exports of nuclear goods or services, including information describing the transaction, date of transaction, location of nuclear installation where item is exported, quantity and dollar value of exported item.
