Justification to Change for 0580-0013 The Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration’s (GIPSA) Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS) has received approval on this collection of information and is updating the expiration date on each form to January 31, 2018 to coincide with the approval. In addition, FGIS wishes to make a change in language to forms FGIS-907 and FGIS-930. Please see the marked up versions with changes made in blue ink as well as clean copies of each form. FGIS-907: A change was made to block 13a, because the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) considers an applicant’s taxpayer identification number to be Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and therefore must be removed from the form. FGIS is replacing block 13a with the applicant’s GIPSA Account Number. Other miscellaneous changes were made, including contact information. FGIS-930: Multiple changes were made to this form as some of the fields marked are no longer required for recordkeeping purposes. FGIS has also added a revenue reporting section to ensure FGIS’ Cooperators remit the correct amount of user fee money to fund the agency’s programs as well as a Point-of-Contact section so FGIS can contact those who submit this report.
