The 2013 NCVS state sample boost will increase the NCVS sample in 11 states in order to evaluate the feasibility of collecting
subnational estimates of victimization. The increase burden will begin in July 2013 and extend through December 2015. The
change in responses and burden is due to the increase sample and more recent estimates for response rates.
