The revisions to the application forms contained in this ICR were based on the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) proposed rulemaking 2900-AO73. That rulemaking has not been finalized. Based on the fact that the rulemaking has not been finalized, VA has determined to not pursue the proposed revisions at this time and instead pursue an extension of OMB’s authorization for the current versions of the application forms without revisions. Further discussion can be found in the supporting statement.
