TITLE OF INFORMATION COLLECTION: Customer
Feedback Survey for the Partnership for Food Protection (PFP) “Model
for Local Federal/State Planning and Coordination of Field Operations
and Training.”
PURPOSE:
Findings
and analysis of responses to this study will provide
needed feedback on the adoption and usability of the work
planning processes identified as a PFP Best Practice in the Model
Work Planning Document. This feedback will inform future iterations
of best practice documents, with regard to both content and
distribution.
DESCRIPTION OF
RESPONDENTS:
FDA will target
State Agriculture and / or State Health Department officials in Food
Safety Departments that plan and coordinate the inspections of
manufactured food establishments and / or conduct
contracted inspections of manufactured food establishments that
are funded by FDA. The respondents must have this experience to
participate in this collection.

METHODS

The potential group of respondents for this survey is the set of State-employed food safety officials that participates in their Agency’s work planning process. Because the product (the PFP Work Planning Model) should have been distributed to every member of that set of officials, and because that set is relatively small, the survey will be distributed to as close to 100% of that set as possible.
Administration of the Instrument: Identify how the information will be collected. More than one box may be checked. Indicate whether there will be interviewers (e.g. for surveys) or facilitators (e.g., for focus groups) used.
