Wetlands include swamps, marshes, bogs, shallow ponds (less than 6 feet deep), and shallow areas on lakeshores and seashores. Some wetlands are only wet some of the year, while others are wet year round. They can be in cities or in rural areas and can be smaller than a basketball court or cover several square miles. While you may not have ever heard of wetlands before, we would like to know what you think about wetlands.
