for Approval by the Office of Management and Budget: Form
EOIR-28 (Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or
Representative Before the Immigration Court)

Attached is the information collection request (ICR) for the Notice of Entry of
Appearance as Attorney or Representative Before the Immigration Court, Form EOIR-28, OMB
#1125-0006, as required for certification and submission to the Office of Management and
Budget. The purpose of this application form is to allow an attorney or representative to file his
or her entry of appearance for each matter before the Immigration Court pursuant to 8 U.S.C. §§
1229a, 1362, and 8 C.F.R. §1003.17(a). This information collection was contained in a proposed
rule published in the Federal Register at 79 FR 55659 (Sept. 17, 2014). EOIR submitted the final
rule to the Federal Register today. As such, please transmit to OMB upon receipt.
