Introduction



Westat is conducting this project on behalf of the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) as part of efforts to redesign the National Crime Victimization Survey.



On each screen, you will be asked about experiences that have happened to you recently. Click on your answer or type in an answer, and then click the NEXT button to continue to the next screen. You can skip any question you don’t know the answer to or prefer not to answer by leaving the question blank and clicking the NEXT button. 



(UT ONLY) The interviewer will observe you as you complete the survey and will occasionally stop you to gather feedback on the screen or on how you came up with your answer.
