Protocol: Developing tools to engage adolescent men who have sex with men

Amendment description: 1. Additional draft advertisements have been developed to
promote recruitment of questioning youth who may not identify strongly with overtly GBT
advertisements. 2. Web survey has been revised to incorporate question specific to the
young transgender population. Additional survey revisions were made based on feedback
from CDC (client), research advisory panel, and internal review and testing. 3. As part of
the earlier transgender survey modification, the pilot period will be expanded to four weeks
and up to 100 subjects.

This certifies approval of the amendment described above by the NORC
Institutional Review Board (IRB00000967), using the expedited review process as
described in 45 CFR 46.110(b), under its Federalwide Assurance #FWA00000142,
which is valid through July 10, 2018.
