This information collection requires aircraft operators, private charter operators, and twelve-five charter operators to adopt and implement a security program.

Title 49 CFR, § 1544.105.

When must information be submitted to the TSA?

Information must be submitted to TSA before an aircraft operator, air carrier, or indirect air carrier at least 30 - 45 days before the intended effective date of an amendment.

How is the information submitted?

The information must be submitted in accordance with the regulations. Aircraft Operators, private charter operators, and twelve-five charter operators must submit the information to their designated official

What happens when complete information is received?

Once the amendment is approved and implemented, TSA will determine compliance with the program requirements through routine onsite inspections, assessments, and tests.
