The regulations (19 C.F.R. §§
358.101-104) provide procedures for requesting the Secretary of
Commerce to permit the importation of supplies, such as food,
clothing, and medical, surgical, and other supplies, for use in
emergency relief work free of antidumping and countervailing
duties.
A program name change took
place since the last renewal of this collection. The previous name
was Import Administration and now it is Enforcement and Compliance
due to an bureau reorganization and the increase in burden hours is
the result of fhe cost is hard to predict with precision or
reliability. The estimated burden hours provides respondents with
sufficient time to research Federal statute and regulations in
addition to other relevant information necessary to submit the
request.
