SUBJECT Interim Newsletter to NLSY79 Respondents between Round 26 and Round 27
BLS is requesting OMB approval to send NLSY79 Main and Young Adult (YA) respondents an interim newsletter providing information on the latest NLS research, why the study is important, and how respondents can update their contact information. The intended time frame for distributing this newsletter is the spring and summer of 2016. Included for your review is the newsletter that will be sent to NLSY79 YA respondents (Attachment 1), and the newsletter that will be sent to NLSY79 Main respondents (Attachment 2).
Current OMB approval of the NLS79 round 26 surveys is scheduled to expire on September 30, 2016. This work will be completed prior to September 30, 2016 and there is no increase in burden due to this request.
