An adjustment in the burden hours have increased by 1320 hours. This reflects an increase of 40 submissions. Additionally, this reflects the time consumed by submitters to identify the NHTSA official requesting the information claimed as confidential, the date of the request, the subject matter of the request, the form in which the request was made and to explicitly identify the factual basis for the request for confidential treatment. Moreover, as more entities continue to create and retain greater amounts of digital data, NHTSA and submitters are expending greater resources processing and preparing requests for confidential treatment and therefore it takes longer on average to prepare a request.
