Goal
of this study is to receive feedback from STD Surveillance Network
(SSuN) sites that will allow CDC staff to better understand clinic
processes and may assist CDC staff in further supporting SSuN
sites.
Intended
use of the resulting data is to facilitate the ability of CDC staff
to make timely suggestions for, 1) providing HIV testing, 2)
documenting HIV testing, and 3) pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)
implementation in clinic data systems.
Data
will be collected using structured Provider and Clinic/Data Manager
Interview Guides.
The
subpopulation to be studied are the Clinic
Providers and Clinic/Data Managers at STD clinics participating in
the SSuN, who are supported, in part, by the CDC STD SSuN Cycle III
Cooperative
Agreement. Data
will be analyzed in NVivo 10 (qualitative data analysis software)
using thematic codes.
