ALASKA AMENDMENT 80 PERMITS AND REPORTS

JUSTIFICATION: This information collection is revised by changing and correcting the application for Amendment 80 Quota Share Transfer. One block of information, Transfer of an Amendment 80 QS Permit to an approved Amendment 80 Replacement Vessel, was inadvertently omitted and is replaced with this change request.
The A80 QS Transfer application form on the web is not the correct version; the QS transfer form that is posted is from the renewal. A final rule was published 10/01/2012 (77 FR 59852) that revised such applications due to new vessel replacement regulations. A new Block E has now been added to allow for transfer to the A80 QS to a replacement vessel. There are also corrections to the first section, in which the choice of transfer is selected.
These changes will not impact the cost and burden of this program.
