The Lead Safe Housing Rule requires: providing a pamphlet on lead poisoning prevention to tenants and purchases, providing a notice to occupants on the results of hazard evaluation and hazard reduction actions, special reporting if there is a child with an environmental intervention blood lead level residing in the unit, and record keeping.

This is a revision of a currently approved collection, based on the change in the threshold for taking prompt lead hazard evaluation and, as needed, lead hazard control action in response to a child under age six (6) having a blood lead level above the threshold. This increase is reflected in the cost burden calculations in Exhibit 1.
