There is an adjustment increase in the respondent labor hours as currently identified in the OMB Inventory of Approved Burdens. This increase is not due to any program changes. The change in the respondent labor hour estimates occurred for two reasons. First, a labor burden estimate for completing Method 29 testing was added based on comments from the Nevada Mining Association (note: this activity was already required by the rule; however, the previous ICR did not estimate the labor burden for completing the testing). Second, this ICR assumes all existing respondents will have to familiarize with the regulatory requirements each year. There is a small adjustment decrease of $130 in the total capital and O&M costs as currently identified in the OMB Inventory of Approved Burdens. This decrease occurred because this ICR rounds totals to three significant figures. There is no change in methodology for calculating O&M costs.
