Abstract: Payment data is collected from vendors doing business with the Federal Government. The Treasury Department, Bureau of the Fiscal Service will use the information to electronically transmit payment to financial institutions designated by vendors and miscellaneous recipients.

Emergency Justfication: This ICR is submitted as an emergency clearance to establish an OMB Control Number belonging to Fiscal Service that will replace collection activities covered by OMB Control Number 1510-0056, previously held by the Financial Management Service (FMS). PRA responsibilities of the former Financial Management Service (FMS) and Bureau of the Public Debt (BPD) have been combined under Fiscal Service. Competing priorities related to the Fiscal Service consolidation have not allowed staff to provide proper notice for comments to the public in the Federal Register. Following approval of the emergency clearance, Fiscal Service will follow the regular timeline for an ICR renewal including public notices in the Federal Register with opportunity for public comments.
