NASS continues to make updates to minor or specialty crop questionnaires in an effort to reduce respondent burden and to collect only the information that is essential to setting accurate and timely estimates. In the past some of the vegetable questionnaires contained questions that were relevant to data users in specific States. After a thorough review of available data some of these questions have been discontinued either because the data was no longer needed or there are now alternate data sources for that particular data.

1. Asparagus:

   1. Minor formatting changes;

   2. Added questions 4c and 4d to get more complete reporting of utilization.

2. Onions:

   1. Minor formatting changes;

   2. Added questions 4c and 4d to get more complete reporting of utilization.

3. Strawberry:

   1. Minor formatting changes;

   2. Added questions 4c and 4d to get more complete reporting of utilization.

4. Processing Vegetable:

   1. Forecast data for processing of sweet corn, green peas, snap beans and processed tomatoes have been dropped from this questionnaire;

   2. Processed data for onions was added to this questionnaire;

   3. Value questions were removed from this questionnaire instead these data are obtained from the growers.

There are no changes in the overall burden or number of respondents as a result of these changes.
