ArboNet provides an electronic-based surveillance and
reporting system of arbovirus activity in humans, birds,
mosquitoes and other mammals in order to facilitate the
exchange of information and data between federal, state and
local authorities. The system captures arbovirus case data from
states in five categories: human, mosquito, avian, veterinary,
and sentinel animals. Data collected regarding human cases is
de-identified and additional measures are taken to ensure
reported data is non-indentifiable.
