Welcome to the

Observer Declare and Deploy System
of the North Pacific Groundfish and Halibut Fisheries
Observer Program
administered by the Fisheries Monitoring and Analysis
Division
of the Alaska Fisheries Science Center.

This system allows you to log your fishing trips in advance
and
determines which trips will need to be observed.
Programming follows the guidance provided in the
Annual Deployment Plan for Observers in the
Groundfish and Halibut Fisheries off Alaska.

Each year NMFS presents its deployment plan at
the October and December meetings of the
North Pacific Fishery Management Council.
