Explanation of Non-Substantive Changes to OMB Control Number: 3060-0850:
Retaining the use of FCC Form 605 until software deployment.
Purpose of this Submission: This non-substantive submission is being submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to retain the use of the FCC Form 605 that expired on July 31, 2017, until the revised form approved on July 18, 2017 is deployed to production in the Universal Licensing System. The FCC is delaying the use of the revised form to allow external customers, who utilize electronic batch filing to file applications more time to update their electronic systems.
The Commission anticipates it will begin using the revised form in early September 2017.
