CMS received one comment on the package for the Appeals of Quality Bonus Payment Determinations.
Comment
Health Partners commented that they have concerns with the removal of the TTY measure (C36 now C32) as CMS has had data integrity concerns with vendor collected data in the past and for that reason we recommend maintaining the appeals process for that measure.
CMS Response
CMS has not proposed to remove the TTY measure from the Star Ratings. All measures used in the Star Ratings are appealable via the Quality Bonus Payment appeals process.
CMS has not revised any requirements or documents as a result of this comment.
