Justification for a Non-Substantive Change Request: (0596-0082) Special Use Administration

On August 31, 2017, the Forest Service received OMB approval for the renewal of its Special Use Administration (0596-0082) information collection. It was recently discovered that several of the submitted forms were submitted – and later posted to RegInfo.gov – as unlocked, and open for editing. In order to ensure quality control, and prevent unauthorized editing of these forms, the Forest Service would like to re-submit these forms with editing “locked.” No substantive changes are being made to the forms.
