Form No. 7-2534, Recreation Use Data Report

Primary Objectives in accordance with the Recreation Use Data Report:

1. Background information: The background information questions are intended to gather basic information pertaining to the recreation area. The management agreement and contact information are essential to identification of the recreation area from which data is being gathered. This information will be completed by Reclamation prior to distribution of the form to managing partners.

2. Contact Information: The contact information section is intended to identify the person who supplied the information for the shaded areas of the form including the date, phone number, and email of that person.

3. Concession Information: The concessions information section is intended to describe concessionaire information including but not limited to capital improvement and operation and maintenance expenses, revenues, and fees.

4. Use Authorization (Recreation): The use authorization section is intended to determine whether a recreation-related use authorization has been issued within an

Area for nonprofit organizations/facilities, exclusive uses, and other use authorizations. The quantity, purpose, description and location must be specified, if applicable.

5. Entire Recreation/Wildlife Area Measurements: The entire recreation / wildlife area measurements are intended to document recreation area data including the total project lands, reservoir surface area, shoreline, trails, and access points.

6. Visitor Information: Total Number for the 12-Month Reporting period: This question is intended to account for visitation within a recreation area on an annual basis.

7. Revenues, Expenses, and Expenditures: This question is intended to account for annual revenue, concessions expenses, expenses and expenditures, and fees paid to the managing entity at Direct and Partner managed recreation areas.

8. Activity Ranking: The activity ranking section is intended to identify and rank the order of the four most popular activities by entering the letter associated with the activity.

9. Facilities Inventory, Designated Areas, and Opportunities: The facilities question area intended to indicate the quantity and number of various recreation facilities and whether they include drinking water, electricity, and sewage. What is Qty? The public won’t know if that is quality or quantity.
