Once accepted into the SBLF program,
the participating bank is required to submit a Supplemental Report
each quarter. The Supplemental Report is used to determine the
bank's small business lending baseline and allows Treasury to
assess the change in the small business lending for the previous
quarter.
There is an estimated reduction
of 3,248 hours of burden due to a drop in the number of SBLF
participants. Since the last renewal, 232 participants have
redeemed their securities and left the program, leaving only 56
remaining who will continue to file quarterly reports.
