Agenda for the 2014 NSFG Advisory Workshop
April 7‐8, 2014
NCHS, Auditorium B
Background: The National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG) is now in the third year of 8 years of interviewing
under the 2011‐2019 contract. As we near the mid‐point of interviewing under this contract, we have planned 2
advisory workshops to learn what mid‐course enhancements are most desirable. The 1st workshop, held in
November 2013, focused on NSFG data potentially relevant for monitoring the Affordable Care Act. Our main
focus for this 2nd workshop is on other changes, if any, to make to the questionnaires for 2015‐2019, but we will
also discuss sample design options and improvements to assist data users.
