AGENCY:

In accordance with the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the
Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is
proposing to renew an information
collection.

SUMMARY:

Interested persons are invited to
submit comments on or before June 4,
2018.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: In
accordance with the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995, we provide the
general public and other Federal
agencies with an opportunity to
comment on new, proposed, revised,
and continuing collections of
information. This helps us assess the
impact of our information collection
requirements and minimize the public’s
reporting burden. It also helps the
public understand our information
collection requirements and provide the
requested data in the desired format.
We are soliciting comments on the
proposed ICR that is described below.
We are especially interested in public
comment addressing the following
issues: (1) Is the collection necessary to
the proper functions of the BLM; (2) will
this information be processed and used
in a timely manner; (3) is the estimate
of burden accurate; (4) how might the
BLM enhance the quality, utility, and
clarity of the information to be
collected; and (5) how might the BLM
minimize the burden of this collection
on the respondents, including through
the use of information technology.

Notice of official filing.

The plats of survey described
below are scheduled to be officially
filed in the Bureau of land Management
(BLM), Eastern States Office,
Washington, DC, 30 days from the date
of this publication. The surveys,
executed at the request of the Eastern
Regional Office of the BIA and the
Southeastern States Field Office of the
BLM, are necessary for the management
of these lands.
DATES: Unless there are protests of this
action, the filing of the plat described in
this notice will happen on May 7, 2018.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The plat,
incorporating the field notes of the
dependent resurvey of a portion of the
1805 and 1820 Choctaw Treaty
boundaries, a portion of the north and
east boundaries, a portion of the
subdivisional lines, and the survey of
tract 37 in Township 9 North, Range 17
West, St. Stephens Meridian, in the
State of Mississippi; accepted August
31, 2017.
The plat, incorporating the field notes
describe the dependent resurvey of a
portion of the east boundary, a portion
of the subdivisional lines, the survey of
the subdivision of section 13, and the
metes and bounds survey of land held
in trust for the Mississippi Band of
Choctaw Indians, within section 13, T.
11 N., R. 13 E., Choctaw Meridian, in
the State of Mississippi, accepted
September 29, 2017.
A person or party who wishes to
protest the above survey must file a
written notice of protest within 30
calendar days from the date of this
publication at the address listed in the
ADDRESSES section of this notice. A
statement of reasons for the protest may
be filed with the notice of protest and
must be filed within 30 calendar days
