Service (NASS) mailed you the 2018 Irrigation and Water Management Survey. Thank you,

important survey will provide information that will directly help you and others in
agriculture with water conservation issues.
Please respond to this survey promptly in either of the following ways:
 Online at www.agcounts.usda.gov. You need the identification number on the
enclosed form to begin. Complete instructions are on the reverse of this letter.
 By mail. Complete the enclosed form and mail it back in the return envelope
provided.
Responding now will ensure that you do not receive telephone or farm visits for this
information.
The 2018 Irrigation and Water Management Survey is part of the Census of Agriculture
program which is required by law and protected by law (Title 7, U.S. Code and the
Confidential Information Protection and Statistical Efficiency Act). These federal laws
require that NASS keeps your identity and your answers confidential.
