"Electronic Other" refers to the submission or correction of FAFSA data using the Electronic Data Exchange (EDE) process. With the FAFSA filer’s permission, a FAFSA can be submitted or corrected through a variety of software methods (e.g. a school’s third party servicer, a school’s mainframe computer, or a school’s proprietary software).
