FAA Noise Reporting
Welcome to the FAA Noise Portal, where you can raise noise-related complaints or inquiries.
Please note, if your noise complaint or inquiry relates to aircraft departing from or arriving to a specific airport, it
is best to contact that airport directly. Airports have the primary responsibility for monitoring aircraft noise from
their operations, taking noise complaints, and community involvement.
The FAA does not have the authority to regulate the operations of military aircraft. If your noise complaint or
inquiry relates to military aircraft, you should contact the nearest military installation to discuss your noise
concerns regarding the military aircraft and to get more information about the type of noise you may be
experiencing.
