2017 grant competitions for Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math-Science included a new competitive preference priority,
replacing two older priorities. Accordingly, for the 2017-22 grant cycle, the Department intends to drop the obsolete priorities
from the programs' annual performance report and to ask grantees to describe their implementation of the new priority.
