Please complete the enclosed Form RRB-1001, Nonresident Questionnaire, so the Railroad
Retirement Board (RRB) may determine how United States income tax withholding applies to your
monthly annuity payments. Please read the enclosed instructions on Form TB-26 before
completing the questionnaire. The questionnaire is needed because *ChooseOne*
Please be sure items A, B, C, G, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are completed according to the TB-26
instructions. Return the RRB-1001 promptly in the envelope provided. We suggest you use air
mail. If we do not receive the questionnaire, we may be required to withhold a higher rate of
tax than would be necessary if you returned the completed form.
