According to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, an agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to a collection of information unless it displays a valid OMB control number. The valid OMB control number for this information collection is 0581-0178. The time required to complete this information collection is estimated to average 15 minutes per response, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the collection of information.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING FORM RAC-32
One copy of this report shall be submitted to the RAC not later than the seventh day of each month by 10:00 a.m. and shall contain all raisins or raisin material disposed of in non-normal outlets during the preceding month. The reports shall be numbered consecutively beginning at the start of the crop year, and shall be certified by a responsible official of the reporting handler.
Insert the name and address of the person or firm to whom the off-grade raisins, other failing raisins, or raisin material were sold or shipped.
Enter varietal type.
Enter date shipped or otherwise disposed of.
Enter weight of off-grade raisins or other failing raisins, exclusive of residuals.
Enter weight of mixed residuals including stemmer waste, tailings, etc., and off-grade raisins if lot is not separated.
Insert weight of stems, chaff, etc.
Enter totals of residuals, off-grade, and other failing raisins disposed of during reporting period.
Enter cumulative totals of residuals, off-grade, and other failing raisins disposed of from the beginning of the season through period of the report.
Consult RAC Field Representatives on any points not clear to you.
If more than one sheet is used, totals should be brought forward to the first sheet.
This report is required by law (7 U.S.C. 608d, 7 CFR 989.173(c)(2)). Failure to report can result in a fine of $1,100 for each such violation, and each day during which such violation continues shall be deemed a separate violation.
