Miscellaneous Actions
The decrease in the burden hours estimated for 2019 is based on a lower number of interview candidates completing a reimbursement request. In 2016, we estimated that 600 candidates would complete a reimbursement request at 10 minutes per request for a total of 100 hours. In 2019, we revised that number downward. We now estimate that 400 candidates will complete a reimbursement request at 10 minutes per request for a total of 67 hours. Our review of past interview costs indicates that approximately 1/3 of the interview pool are either local candidates or are not eligible for any reimbursement; those candidates never complete a reimbursement request. This accounts for the 2019 decrease of 33 hours in the overall burden.
